It is alternating layers of a hybrid fabric that is blue dyed fiber glass and carbon fiber, and regular carbon fiber layers. With the hybrid material as the top and bottom layer.

The colors in this material are made from specialty dyed fiberglass fabrics. It is a very high quality, the colors are very rich and vibrant, and it machines very well into a very beautiful finish. It is NOT kevlar. The carbon fiber is a high quality, and I use water clear transparent resins to make sure the colors stay as rich and nice as they naturally are. This material is made from high quality carbon fiber and real titanium! The titanium can be exposed when you machine into the carbon fiber. The titanium looks a bit gray by itself and it does not have a strong contrast to the carbon fiber but it can certainly show as a very classy subtle effect.

The titanium material also shows a bit on the surface of the top and bottom as grayish layer, but this is mostly a “bonus” of the material and is not a consistent effect. The titanium on the inside of the layers is very consistent and this will come out very well after machining and sanding. If the layers are contoured down a bit it will expose the titanium in between the layers of carbon fiber very well! The top surface has a high gloss look while the bottom has a peel ply texture.

The Bronze material used for this Bronze Carbon Waves plate is REAL bronze. It will look and behave and process just like actual bronze. As such it will also tarnish and oxidize and do everything the real thing does! The bronze is a very beautiful and subtle effect with the carbon fiber, but it makes for a very nice combo and when contoured and shaped it will certainly come out well. After detailing it can really look great!
