In the pictures is shown an example of how the material looks once sanded into the layers. Using various thicknesses and angles other patterns emerge and beautiful designs can be created this way! For my sample the material has only been cut and not detailed, but with some detailing it will look much better. What is visible in these pictures is that the material is absolutely void free.

The Brass in the resin in this material will give a beautiful gold-ish shiny sparkling look to your carbon fiber based products! It really reflects the light well and really pops out in the light!!

The brass material also shows a bit on the surface of the top and bottom as goldish layer, but this is mostly a “bonus” of the material and is not a consistent effect. The brass on the inside of the layers is very consistent and this will come out very well after machining and sanding. If the layers are contoured down a bit it will expose the brass in between the layers of carbon fiber very well!

The RockyWaves material has been vacuum produced, so all of the rocks/minerals/gemstones have been stabilized with resin. During this process it solidifies the material as one and there are no worries about loose or porous stones.
