Since it is made using real minerals/gemstones the colors range from deep purple, light purple, clear and white. If you look at an Amethyst rock pendant you will see the wide variations of colors that you will find in this material.

The RockyWaves material has been vacuum produced, so all of the rocks/minerals/gemstones have been stabilized with resin. During this process it solidifies the material as one and there are no worries about loose or porous stones. With water/low heat & high grit polishing you can achieve a very high gloss and bring out the best of both materials. The stones will become more vibrant and the carbon fiber will appear blacker.

1/4″ thick Aqua Glow fabric & Carbon Fiber plate material, ready to be used for knife scales or other products. It is alternating layers of a aqua glow fabric, and regular carbon fiber layers. Carbon fiber is the top and bottom layer, and in between 6 alternating layers of glow fabric. The aqua glow material glows very bright and has a beautiful color! Its one of the stronger glowing colors in my glow color range.

In the pictures is shown an example of how the material looks once sanded into the layers. Using various thicknesses and angles other patterns emerge and beautiful designs can be created this way! The Brass in the resin in this material will give a beautiful gold-ish shiny sparkling look to your carbon fiber based products! It really reflects the light well and really pops out in the light!!

This material is made from real brass and real carbon fiber, it machines very well, and can be detailed and contoured and shape in any way you can imagine. The carbon fiber has a high quality, and I use water clear transparent resins to make sure the colors stay as rich and nice as they naturally are. The materials as you see are “all natural”. What you see is what you get! 🙂 The brass is real brass, so it will behave in any way like regular brass and is very durable, it will remain its solid reflective look very well and can be treated like regular brass to enhance its features over time.

The brass material also shows a bit on the surface of the top and bottom as gold-ish layer, but this is mostly a “bonus” of the material and is not a consistent effect. The brass on the inside of the layers is very consistent and this will come out very well after machining and sanding. If the layers are contoured down a bit it will expose the brass in between the layers of carbon fiber very well!
