Both sides may be covered by a protective tape so they are absolutely scratch free. This tape is easy to remove. On some products I have removed this tape already before shipping. In the pictures is shown an example of how the material looks once sanded into the layers. Using various thicknesses and angles other patterns emerge and beautiful designs can be created this way! For my sample the material has only been cut and not detailed, but with some detailing it will look much better. What is visible in these pictures is that the material is absolutely void free.
