This plate is made from real titanium and high quality carbon fiber. When machined and polished it will give a beautiful “grey” effect. The grey titanium has a subtle contrast with the black of the carbon fiber. The titanium in the resin in this material will give a beautiful subtle grey shiny sparkling look to your carbon fiber based products! Anodizing of this material is possible as carbon fiber conducts electricity so you can then color the titanium in this material. Thus creating very unique and colorful metal and carbon fiber.
This material is made using real titanium and real carbon fiber so, it machines very well and can be detailed, contoured and shape in any way you can imagine. The carbon fiber is high quality and we use water clear transparent resins to make sure the colors stay as rich and high gloss. The materials as you see are “all natural”. The titanium is real titanium so, it will behave just like regular titanium. It is very durable and it will retain its subtle reflective property and should be treated like any other regular titanium to enhance its features over time.
The titanium material also shows a bit on the surface of the top and bottom as grey layer, but this is mostly a “bonus” of the material and is not a consistent effect. The titanium on the inside of the layers is very consistent. If the layers are contoured it will expose the titanium in-between the layers of carbon fiber extremely well.
Each plate is handmade with our own custom developed high tech process so, that the material has an extremely high quality and absolutely no voids. Not even microvoids! Or any other imperfections! Each plate has been cured at high temperatures so, that it machines and takes a polish very well! Because of this you will be able to give your products a very high quality finish.
We provide a no voids guarantee on our carbon fiber plates. We are completely confident that you will not find any voids or microvoids in our products. But, if you do ever find any small voids we will give you a free replacement product.
